Interesting Oliver gets a game before Taylor considering Taylor is probably number 1 in Europe

Oliver deservedly getting a game first. Imo is better than Taylor. A lot more consistent

2
Finally Oliver gets one! Important game with Makkelie getting the other big one in the group.

Kovacs looking like he might not get a game in the middle as he seems to just be doing 4thers, hopefully though that isn't the case.
Hopefully Taylor gets Ecuador vs Senegal

3
Why is Orsato getting a second game before others who in my opinion are better than him haven't even had their first. I hope Oliver gets either Germany v Spain but I think Makkelie (who I think is the best ref in the world atm and hope he's in contention for the final) will get that.

4
Is Lisa Benn injured as haven't seen her on here since end of September/start of October?

And is Lucy May (Oliver) injured or has she retired?

Sad news from France.

Johan Hamel has passed away after having a massive stroke after a training session yesterday.

Confirmed by UNAF, the French referee association this morning

General Discussion / Re: Andre Marriner - Forest
« on: Sun 06 Nov 2022 08:16 »
I thought he had got the penalty decisions right up until the one he gave. Like Cooper said none of them are a penalty but if you're giving one you have to give all.
Like Ajb95 said if you give that then I agree dogso has to come into play. Like Arbitre anglais said repeated dissent from Henderson, he should have gone before that penalty was taken, and then after he boots the ball in Marriners direction, so if he hasnt gone beforehand has to go for that, and if all of that isn't sanctioned then him keep berating him after that, he has to go. This isn't just a Marriner thing, this is all top flight referees, which shows its definitely PGMOL and Mike Riley telling refs to let it go. I can only assume to not 'ruin the game'

Good set of appointments again.
Bankes and Pawson out of favour at the moment. Also haven't seen Gillett in the middle for a while, what's happened there?

Mr. Gillett did Spurs v. Newcastle last weekend (23rd. October). Can't speak for why Messrs. Banks and Pawson seem out of favour.

Thank you. My memory is atrocious
