Mr Breakspear used to be one of the most unfit referees on the National List - then, all of a sudden, he must have changed his training regime, because now he's one of the fittest! He deserves a shot at SG2 if not even SG1.

I must say Mr Breakspear put in a convincing performance yesterday. He has a reputation to be quite the card shark but there was no sign of that here. He got nothing wrong, his communication with players was excellent and the cherry on the cake was his fitness: Charlie certainly hasn't spent the time since his last outing on the couch.

I was shocked to see that this lad who not long ago looked like he arrived straight from the pub has lost probably at least 2 st and almost moving faster than the ball on quick counters - for the full 120 minutes!

I'd say Charlie certainly has SG2 potential after seeing this 'new man' (both bodily and refereeing-wise). Could we see him promoted soon?
