General Discussion / Re: M ATKINSON - Cardiff v Liverpool

Shame on the sky interviewer, trying to provoke warnock into telling the truth and getting fined.

I thought it was a funny response but once again i doubt the FA will take kindly to this and probably fine him again. *** edited that part ***. They want managers to give interviews then they must be allowed to be honest and not get fined

If he goes out in a blaze of glory it will be the best bit of tv all season.

Colin in all likelihood will be charged by the FA for his remarks about the officials.

A disgrace if he does get fined. Cardffs hopes of avoiding relegation went with that offside goal yesterday costing the team £100million.

Roll on VAR (never thought id say that). The officials need all the help available now especially on clear decisions /errors. Offside is a fact but i still think the match referee should view any decision himself not rely on an opinion from someone else.

And not every review should mean a change of decision. Also i believe the on field referee should be able to (like in rugby) review something on his own wishes as well.

Funny when warnock says he will play the under 23s vs man city wednesday and potentially fix the goal difference and decide the league.

Dont really answer my question though.

Well i would of sent sterling off for his celebration.

LAW 12 states an inflamatory gesture likely to encite the crowd should be treated as offensive insulting or abusive language and or gestures.

Im not condoning the racism at all and its disgraceful but surely the referee must follow the laws of the game
(If they have to caution a player for removing his shirt to show an undershirt on with a tribute to someone who has died then this law should also of been followed)

Maybe an assessor could explain.

EITHER WAY RACISM IS DISGUSTING

Should we adopt the spanish system where the sort appointmentw for the season by computer. Perhaps we should do this for referees role only and ensure the refs get each team a similar number if times??

10
Should Sterling of been punished for his celebration in the montenegro game? Possibly inciting the crowd?? RED CARD?

Shame as these made great games on itv4. So hopefully the final will be at a neutral venue

Very impressed with guida in milan derby

Portugese ref for England then which means alot of whistle and cheap free kicks. Should suit us with our dead ball situations.

I thought these ties were home and away or has this been changed this season

I would have thought that it should be the on field Referees decision as to overturning a red card as it is a matter of opinion not fact so surely Atkinson should have watched it himself pitchside and made his own mind up

thats exactly what i thought should happen in that case, and needs to see it in real time as in my opinion the challenge was late with no intention of getting the ball from a frustrated player whose team was losing.
