He got offered a role as a full-time VAR official after he retired from refereeing in the middle. It was confirmed in the premier league statement about him retiring.

Could some kind person let me know where the 4 new referees are based please.I know Rebecca Welch is based from Washington Tyne and Wear but the other 3 I don’t know.

As we had Alan Young instead of Chris Pollard at Salford, since he has come on to the list we have had him officiate us in 6 away games but he has never been to the Banks's Stadium.

Just wondered why a referee who hails from Wednesbury(which for those that dont kmow is in the borough of West Bromwich) and has now moved up to the Blackpool/Preston area should be allocated to officiate Preston v WBA ?

Seems a bit of a strange decision to take Rob Lewis off our game and dispatch him to Bolton as 4th Official and put Seb Stockbridge as referee on our game.Would it not have been easier to leave Rob Lewis at Walsall and put Stockbridge as 4th Official at Bolton ?

From the pictures that I saw on Tv the referee for Villa v Preston was defiently Darren England and not Peter Bankes.

By the time Saturday comes we will of already had Graham Salisbury and Lee Swabey twice and we are just about in October.
Surely other referees could have been appointed to these matches
