Hooper has tweaked his hamstring so he’ll be out for a few weeks one would have thought….

Correct.

Donohue is in the middle at Hull on Tuesday so probably saves travel after a late finish down south on Monday night.

Is that new news?

3
Any reason for the change of VAR at West Ham?

General Discussion / Re: Stuart Attwell - Brentford v Chelsea

So you are relying on

"clearly attempting to play a ball which is close when this action impacts on an opponent or
making an obvious action which clearly impacts on the ability of an opponent to play the ball"

I suggest you watch it closely because that clearly does not happen.

The ball wasn't "close" as evidenced by the fact that a full stretch of his leg didn't and couldn't reach the ball.
At no point does James touch or otherwise check his movements towards the ball. James is clearly able to (also) stretch for the ball and is unimpeded by anyone.

It posts like yours that don't help with this forum with I thought was meant to be objective and not some partisan appaling for stuff that simply "didn't happen"

Hello Chelsea Fan Marvin, can you point to the part of Law 11.2 that you believe has been breached?

6
What's happened to Harry Lennard?

7
With Paul Tierney and David Coote being at present hors de combat
What's up with Tierney?

8
I’ve not seen Graham Scott as VAR for a long time if I’m not mistaken.
Not since 25th November

Maybe because there's no Championship fixtures this weekend!?

9
Some years there at Brentford v Fulham!
It certainly showed too!

Why are we risking new referees on teams who are fighting tooth and nail to stay in the division. Bournemouth Sheff Utd / Wolves v Fulham would be a more appropriate match (no offense to fulham fan posters).

It's unfair on the teams involved and unnecessary pressure on the trial referees

Nothing again for Attwell, or Scott who's treatment this season has been nothing short of disgraceful!
A new referee? Eh?!

Polite reminder *
Any allegation of cheating is unacceptable on the forum and all posts containing such allegations will be removed , please word your posts carefully, many thanks .

Point taken. I didn't know what else to call it in order to describe exactly what it was, in my opinion. I could have said "severe gamesmanship" but even that doesn't cut it. Polite reminder accepted though.
Betting on football is not cheating. Betting does not affect the outcome of the game, especially as he wasn't playing in any of them. It's against the wider rules, yes. Stupid, yes. Cheating, no.

I'm surprised UEFA/FIFA appointed an English/British set of officials for the France v. Gibraltar game, given that the latter is a British Overseas territory.
Yeah, they did well to keep the score down!

Was looking at a stat just now, Barrott will be on his 4th premier league game of the season if he does Saturdays game while Bramall has only done 3!

He will  have done more than Bond, Bramell, England, Harrington and Scott. And on a part with Gillet.

14
Bond is injured and Harrington might be injured again aswell
Does being injured prevent them taking on VAR duties?
