General Discussion / Re: Anthony Taylor - Arsenal v Liverpool

Martinelli's action were very poor - and I note he has apologised today which is good. The bit I am curious about which appears to have  gone unnoticed is that Bradley clearly makes an attempt to move back onto the pitch - prior to Martinelli trying to move him off the pitch - why would a badly injured player try to do this?

A very poor performance thus far from the referee on the England game. He is inconsistent in his decision making and appears to be guessing at times. Play is very disrupted in part due to his inability to spot fouls, and to recognise that physical challenges are allowed.

How disappointing O’Keefe has had a good World Cup. If he chose tonight to have a bad game. He let the South Africans refuge game and then bottled the big decisions in the last 10 minutes. RSA discover the top in the last ruck casing point. The worst team won tonight due to less than strong decisions

Poor refereeing of the England red card if you watch in slow motion every contact is a red card. There have been several incidents in th minutes that followed that could have been a red or yellow card. No game empathy from a referee who has spoilt games in the past remember Scotland Australia. He is a poor referee who influences games too much

Excellent refereeing and a great example to all referees. Shameful responses from some trying to excuse the actions of the player, including ex referees

Andrew Bryce - good first half but poor second half - he allowed the SA Captain to dictate the decisions - scrum penalties were a guess and inconsistent. The mauls were inconsistently refereed - so poor and inconsistent performance
