I might be wrong but wasn't it Kirk that was identified very early on in his refereeing career and progressed through the levels quickly but moved abroad, America if I recall correctly, so progress stopped. Since his return home his rise from National League has been very quick and justifiably so.

Plenty of time for UEFA badges if his rise continues as successfully.
