I assume you were at the same game as I was. The keeper had been doing it most of the game and had been told on a couple of occasions. Maybe focus more on why the GK felt the need to do it rather than the referee doing his job correctly?

He either had a mid season promotion or maybe he’s going straight to SG2!

Jesus where to start watch this clip from fifty seconds deliberate back pass picked up stop on coming player from potential goal scoring opportunity
QPR v Swansea

A red card must be administered and justice served John Busby ?? Nothing other than indirect free kick.
A referee on SG2 must know the laws this is embarrassing for English football a few week rest and no appointments now in Order for Busby
I’d suggest you learn the Laws of the Game yourself before coming on here slating someone. Really hope you aren’t an observer!

I was at the game and she put in a very good performance. She moves very well around the pitch and any decision she gives is made positively - I like her style in engaging with the players. Couldn’t see the incident referred to above from my position so have only seen it on the highlights. Any comments about the referee I heard from both sets of supporters on the way back to the car were how she just lets the game flow and referees with a smile on her face.

Darren Cann has only had 2 AVAR appointments all season. Is he injured or has he retired from assistant duties on field.
Also, Peter Kirkup has also retired by the looks of it.
2 great assistants in their day.
According to The PGMOL account on Instagram, Cann appears on the list but Kirkup doesn’t.

The concussion substitute protocol is just an experimental Law being trialled at the moment in a limited number of competitions. The are no leagues in the National League System which are part of the trial hence the exclusion of it in the qualifying rounds of the FA Cup.
In my view, concussion substitutions shouldn't be trialled anymore and actually be implemented full time as we are seeing with the legal action being taken against World Rugby and if football continues to ignore the importance of having concussion substitutions then it may well end up being in a similar situation to rugby.
I don't disgaree with the sentiments but just curious how this would work at this level. They are only allowed 5 subs, of which they can use all of them. If they haven't used all of them no problem, but what if they have, is someone allowed back on?
A great deal of training is required over and above 1st aid for sport which is the current requirement. which adds to the complications.
Strangely in the qualifying rounds it’s 3 from 7 named subs.

I would hardly call it naive to appoint someone with his experience to any game in the EFL to be honest. It’s good to see someone address pathetic behaviour and for me he was 100% spot on.
