I shall be at the Amex on Saturday as Mrs Thing is an Everton fan… and finally get to see Kavanagh in the flesh.

Are you on purple watch again?

1/3 chance methinks..

No doubt those odds will reduce dramatically if bmb makes some pleading remarks on here!

I have submitted a written plea on your behalf TTFL. I said given the success of the lush purple last weekend you are desperate to see it on show in your game again this coming weekend. That was what you wanted me to request wasn't it?

Can we put the moderators on moderated posts please? 😂😂😂😂

I think it’ll be Jones or Gillett for the final….

I always assumed Seagull was a Brighton correspondent on this Forum but I may well be mistaken.

hi,

a natural assumption, but then again, maybe he's an ornithologist

great display be MO

regards,

gnr

then again, maybe s/he just likes nicking other people's chips !

The seagulls in Brighton and my home town of Eastbourne are vicious little buggers… any sniff of food being consumed in the open and they will literally fly at you from behind and snatch it.

Oliver was impeccable as always at Fulham last Saturday and I agree with Claretman totally.

He will have a very busy summer coming up so will want to head into the World Cup in top form.

In other news, Brooks for us at Old Trafford.

A very good game for Jones at Spurs.

Alan Young with a decent derbyish tie at Priestfield…..

Reeves with a basement battle at Crawley.

Most of the FIFA referees and VAR’s are at a seminar on those days so all the big hitters were out of commission.

Excellent appointments for both of them.

I think Craig Pawson has been excellent. He has let the game flow and his calm refereeing style has been well received by both teams.

Yep.

Back to the Pawson we know of and fully justified of Webb to appoint his match to him.

He’s been very good so far, a typical Pawson performance and has let a very entertaining match flow.

I also just want to make the point that after the suggestion that Oliver shouldn’t be handling games of this stature… it was a real pleasure to witness a high calibre official going about his business with minimal fuss.

He treats every game with the upmost respect and his consistency week in week out is of the highest order.

His appointments should be spread around to all teams (bar his nominated exclusions), who have earned the right to play in the top flight, and not restricted to the top PL teams every week.

Effortless, makes it so easy, no controversy and was hardly noticed.

Standard high level Oliver this afternoon.
Extra marks for wearing purple too ?

Erm…….

Another dustbowl in Sri Lanka for the 2nd ODI.

Unfortunately, I think Oliver is in purple tomorrow….

bmb has her revenge!
