I did a couple of 4th Officials for Uriah way back and was very impressed with him. He was commanding on the pitch and had the respect of the players.

Great performance by Mike Dean, he is my favourite ref. If I'm honest, he reminds me of when I reffed. Mike always gives honestly what he sees, and never bottles it, even when he knows there will be a reaction. Great performance from the whole officiating team

Just as a matter of interest, when I used to be on the line at whatever level I was officiating, I was always fully equipped exactly as if I was the Match Referee. Mr McNamara would not have had a problem if I was lining or 4O with him. Don't AR's and 4O's do this anymore?
