Richard Illingworth had a horrible year as an umpire
Predicting either Gaffaney Or Dharmasena to win ICC umpire award
Alex Wharf may be in contention for the ICC Umpire of the year award too. Looks like he is top of the merit list according to the Sydney Morning Herald: https://www.smh.com.au/sport/cricket/why-the-world-s-best-umpires-won-t-be-umpiring-first-ashes-test-20251108-p5n8qb.html
That's only based on DRS and success rate that too in test matches, when considering other formats too(by only again DRS ) Palekar has the highest successful rate, followed by Gaffaney and Dharmasena, I'm not counting Palekar as this is his first year

Similar to Donovan Koch officiating in Ranji trophy,
BCCI umpire Abhijit Bengeri will be officiating 2 Sheffield Shield match
1 match starting on 11/11/25 and other on 22/11/2025

Absolutely right, apart from out/ not out decisions, there are various other decisions that are taken on the ground or in TV chair, which decides the performance of the umpire
May be the calls regarding the light, wide calls and many others
This is just based on what we have in front of us from espn cricinfo only from the year 2024
And this is just one of many things that determines the performance

6
Actually I have done that thing from 2024,from tests, ODI and t20i world cup
It is like follows
Illingworth-57 decisions reviewed, 48 upheld, 9 overturned, 84.2% upheld percent
Similarly nos of others in that order
Tucker-43, 36 , 7 and 83.7%
Gaffaney-73, 59,14 and 80.8%
Raza-71, 57,14 and 80.28%
Menon-58, 46,12 and 79.3%
Kettleborough-38, 30, 8 and 78.9%
Saikat-44, 34, 10 and 77.27%
Dharmasena-69, 53 , 16 and 76.8%
Gough-57, 43, 14 and 75.4%
Reiffel-73, 55, 18 and 75.3%
Holdstock-33, 22, 11 and 66.66%
Joel Wilson- 72, 46, 26 and 63.8%
