Interesting appointment for Salisbury considering his last game was January 24th.

I am surprised we have a NL 40. If he gets injured, Humphries will have an immense amount of pressure on his shoulders.

I was half-expecting a Smith or Donohue for Millwall and an SG1 referee for our game against Middlesbrough, but nevertheless I am happy with Salisbury.

Good appointments all round!

I presume Ipswich will be due another SG1 visit in a couple of weeks for that game against Middlesbrough. I'd put my money on one of Pawson, Robinson, Bankes or Harrington.

Brilliant appointment for Howard, absolutely buzzing for him!

Great appointments all round!

Harrington riding solo in the VAR booth on Sunday! 😂 (Since been updated - Thanks Ben!)

A suggestion for Collina and others can chip in with their opinions:

Obviously once all the bugs are ironed out etc, could we possibly see an update where we now are required to appoint Assistant Referees, Fourth Officials and AVARs?

Obviously it also depends on how complicated it is to implement and the logistics.

For interaction purposes, what are our best moments on this game so far?

So far, Kavanagh has been slammed by managers twice (not physically, just in the media!) and Sam Barrott is flying on the merit table, with Kavanagh, Davies and Howard taking the crown in my VAR Merit tables!

I have had a go at trying to fix some of those issues

I'm now out of free tokens so can't do anything until they refresh on 27th March

All seems to be fixed now!

The only problem I have is the league table not updating, but the merit tables are updating and simulating is happening as expected now!

Is it just me having trouble with saving? I have a feeling we may all be conflicting each other.

Collina, is there a way to make it sort of FIFA/FM style, where we can create our own save/database, obviously including all fixtures and things but appointments are blank? Sort of like a local saving, if you know what I mean. (I have probably worded that completely wrong)

I think where others are doing their appointments, it's conflicting and showing up for everyone.

As well as that, the VAR/Merit Tables & League Table don't update with the simulated matches.

I'm trying to fix the issue where it seems to be saving the referee appointments to the database instead of the local user session

I have also added a save / load button

Legend!

I don't know how it all works but some games are taking a while to simulate, or not simulating at all.

Also, the merit/league tables don't seem to update with the matches!

Sorry to bombard you, just thought I'd highlight them to you so you can deal with them accordingly!

I cannot praise this game enough though! It is amazing!

I am loving it as well! A very lovely game, although I don't think I would be the appointing officer for the PGMO anytime soon! I think I'd scare them away with some of the appointments I'm making!

A few bugs here and there such as games not simulating or merit tables not updating, but that's expected with any game and I am sure they can be ironed out!

I am certainly enjoying this though!

General Discussion / Re: Paul Tierney - Chelsea vs Newcastle
« on: Sat 14 Mar 2026 21:20 »
Listening to Liam’s interview via SkySports, he makes the following point:

- Disappointing that Paul was in the huddle
- They do it to respect the ball (?!), show unity and leadership
- Nothing is disrespectful to the opposition

Ridiculously, he then goes ‘If Paul had focused more on his job which was to make the right decision, we have a penalty today’ - The question he was asked was about what he thought of the referee being in the team talk, not the game itself. The dig was completely unnecessary.

BBC Sport have reposted a post on twitter, saying how Liam Rosenior has said he will complain to the PGMO regarding Tierney being in the middle of their team talk.

Wow.

Here you go

https://refereemanager.base44.app/

Woo! Now heading to try it on my laptop! Will let you know!

Edit: I am loving it so far! One piece of feedback is, would it be possible for the game to detect when a referee has been appointed twice in a day!

Also, the progress doesn’t save - I clicked off of ‘Matches’ and went back onto it and my progress was gone.

I’ve accidentally appointed Kav to Brighton vs Fulham and Villa vs Newcastle on the same day! 🫣

Other than that, the UI is smooth and the information is very good and realistic!  Wonderful game!

I may be down voted here, but Tierney not knowing what to do isn’t rare….

Every single one of them should be yellowed. You cannot just trap a match official in a huddle. Absolutely ridiculous carry on.

I am sure Tierney saw the funny and unserious side of it, he probably found it as awkward and funny as most people did.

Tierney got caught in Chelsea’s new and bizarre huddle around the ball on the centre spot!

Safe to say he looked a tad out of place with his y*llow top and didn’t know what to do!

The expression on Bennett’s face told me he thought the Chelsea players were having a go at him!
