Is this Englands first Liverpool appointment since the infamous "great process"?

What do we think about potential RC for DOGSO for Pinnock for the penalty, This is the quote from PLMatchCentre: "The referee’s call of penalty for a challenge by Pinnock on Watkins was checked and confirmed by VAR. VAR also checked for a potential red card for Pinnock and confirmed the referee’s call of yellow card for denial of a goal scoring opportunity, deeming it an attempt to challenge for the ball."

I dont really see how this can be judged as a genuine attempt to challenge for the ball, I also think in general there has been a shift to be very generous to defenders in these situations, I would assume to avoid double jeopardy.

Oliver with city for a fourth time already and not even Christmas yet! Surely unprecedented? I know a few refs are injured at the moment but that is quite frankly ridiculous

Very odd indeed, City still have a lot of big clashes remaining. Going to be seeing a lot of Taylor on their big games from now I would assume, he hasn't had them since first game of the season (Chelsea v City)

Isn't the Sugawara penalty incorrect? If it deflects off another body part before touching the arm, its not supposed to be a handball. PLmatchcentre says Oliver on VAR thought it was deliberate, I think thats extremely harsh to the point of it being a misjudgement.
I get that Sugawara is responsible for his body and its extremely clumsy and therefore a decision that will be accepted, but do we think its correct according to LOTG?
