I think Peter Bankes had a great game. It’s about time referees start booking players for simulation. He is strong!

Paul Howard let him down as VAR during the Leeds vs Man City game on Saturday.

I am personally not a fan of VAR but I understand that is now an important part of the game at the highest level.

I would like to see it go but I know that is not going to happen just yet.

I have an idea which I think would be very interesting and good to watch.

I ask the Premier League to donate 1 weekend of fixtures ne t season without VAR. I think it would help reassure people that the best officials are at the top deservedly. It will sort the men out from the boys.

Thoughts?

I am normally Oliver’s biggest fan but he got the Arsenal red card completely wrong, but I am more confused as to why Darren England didn’t intervene.

If it is to do with the fact that Oliver, as some have mentioned, is our number 1 ref, then I don’t like that as its suggest to me there’s a problem.

We’ve seen examples of this before with VAR not intervening an obvious wrong decision with so called top refs so it is something that should be addressed if that is the case.

Are we not allowed an opinion?

I was simply trying to say that as a Charlton Athletic fan an FA Cup 3rd Round games is huge to us.

We don’t want the ref who is being pushed too quickly. We want an established SG2 strong ref like Dean Whitestone or Bobby Marley! Maybe even Ollie Yates or Paul Howard!!

Dear aaa,

If that is the case they should apply that logic to Premier League games too! Round 3 in the FA cup to teams like Charlton Athletic are huge!!

Who is this referee?

She has been terrible! England should have been down to 10 women after 2 minutes but she only gave yellow.

Then she gives a third penalty of the game to Germany in the 72nd minute for the German player kicking the English player!!

Awful game from this referee. Her whistle is too weak as well.

I predicted the 2 English refs would get the first 2 1/4 finals, just put them on the wrong games lol

Dias definitely for the final if Portugal don’t get through. That’s what my gut is telling me… anyway let’s wait and see!

Dias will get the final IMO depending on Portugal’s progression. He has been excellent.
