When you are in board view (as opposed to in one of the forums) if there is a new topic in one of the forums it will have the word new in the bubble icon.
[attachimg=1]
If you click on the word new it will bring up a list of threads that have either been started since your last visit or topics that have new replies since you last visited.

That will also work if you see the word new next to one of the sub forums.

Once you have the list of topics, if you click on the word new next to the topic name then it will take you straight to the new replies and saves you having to scroll down to find them.

Alternatively you can go straight to the last post by clicking the little arrow icon when in topic view.

When using quote or quick reply you do not get the option for emojis. If you click on preview, you will be taken to the full reply screen where you then have the option to use emojis.

Clicking the big smiley face under the bog standard crappy emojis brings you up a better selection!

If you are in topic view and one of the topics has the word new to it, the same principle applies as described in post 1. Click the word new & it will take you to the replies that are new since your last visit or a list of any new topics that have been started. Again you have the option to just go directly to the last post using the little arrow icon on the right.

From Steelman:
Re the clock format:
To change to your own preference
Click profile at top of home page
Then account settings
Then on the menu on the left under modify profile click look and layout. Can change clock format in there to your own preferences. Some other wee settings in there that can be juggled to suit yourself

Another quick way for you to head to any new posts is if you look at the top left of the board where it says hello and your name, there are 2 links underneath. One for unread posts since your last visit and one for new replies to your posts.
