Over the next couple of weeks we will be 'running down' the tapatalk board and using here. We will keep the other one open but locked for new posts so it will be read only.
We are not fully organised here yet but we are getting there. Transition period!
Good to see our members coming over though - thank you x

Welcome back!

I'm here!

After wondering why there were so few posts on the old forum and a lot of topics closed (just old age you know), I'm glad to be here
-
Found my way over!
Thanks for all your hard work - think you made the correct decision to move
-
I'm here too - which means it must be easy to get across!!
-
all the best with the new site & thanks for all of your hard work.

We have hit 100 members! Pretty good going the day after I used my size 5's to kick you out of the old home!
-
Thanks for sorting this. So much easier to use, relief all round👍🏻

I do want to say, on behalf of the admin team, a huge thank you to all of our members who have followed us to the new home.
The move has of course helped clear the members list of those who had been inactive for in some cases years, it was such a pain to try and go through and delete them - the auto options were dreadful! At least now we will have the more active people even if it means our member numbers are much lower. Quality not quantity
We appreciate your loyalty to RTR and look forward to you filling this place up and making it a proper home for us all

Just to say thank you to you, bmb, and the team for making this possible and, from our point of view at least, a relatively seamless process. I don't suppose we'll ever know how much blood, sweat and tears it has involved but I am sure that those of us joining you in our new home are deeply appreciative for what you have done for us. I guess it might have been tempting to pack the whole thing in but I am sure I speak for most, if not all, of us when I say how glad we are that you didn't. RTR in many ways is like a family and after nearly 11 years as a member, it would have left an enormous hole to fill. So grateful thanks and here's to another 11 years (at least!) of interesting debate and stimulating chat.

Does anyone know a quick way of finding this site through a Google search?
Currently most of the links are for the old website, so if I'm trying to find to site from a device I don't normally use I'm currently going to the announcement on the old website and clicking hte link to get through to here!

It will take a couple of weeks for google to update & start recognising this site unfortunately. I guess the only way is to update bookmarks on every device as you go along.

You and me both! I am still getting to grips with some of the new buttons and when I try and quote or remove posts I hit the one below because the buttons were at the bottom in the old place, pre the tapatalk nightmare. Of course at some stage I will try and pretend that I know what I am doing and start playing about with the theme coding and getting told off by Ben for creating a mess but that's pretty standard!

Hi All. I have finally re-enrolled or re-joined. Glad to be back. Albeit from a long way away. I reckon my membership goes back to 2007. Across a lot of incarnations. Anyway keep whistling or flagging just enjoy your refereeing.
