I'd like to take the time as well to say thank you to all of our members for another great year of contributions, whether we agree or not, the debate is enjoyable and I appreciate each and every one of you.
Also a huge thank you to my wonderful admin team on here, who keep things running smoothly and within the law! You might not always agree with their edits but I will always back them 100%, this forum would be a much poorer place without them. Thank you Charlie, Mackem, Herts, Flip, Edy and aaa for all the appointments work he undertakes. You guys are awesome.

May I take this opportunity to wish all our RTR contributors and readers a Merry Christmas. I realise that tomorrow will be anything but merry for many people, however I hope you will accept my sentiments in the way I have intended. The road ahead may be rocky still, but let us all look forward to a better time in 2021.Echoed

This year, the Paramedic is working as is his wife, a GP in Sheffield and the other son is out in the Middle East for 6 months on RAF Operations and will not be home until May.
The problem is that his wife, a type 1 diabetic with only one kidney, is on her own in Telford and her son, also a type 1 diabetic who lives on his own in High Wycombe is not able to visit because he lives in a Tier 4 area.
Anyway, life goes on and Christmas will happen in an unusual fashion so may I wish all contributors on here a very Merry Christmas and a hope that 2021 will see things gradually return to some sort of normality ---whatever that may be!
