Looks like Alan Robinson but is that a Welsh badge?

Looking for the name of the ref in the middle of this picture, from an Anglo Scottish Cup tie in 1976.

Looks a bit like a young Alan Robinson, but someone else might know for definite.

It is Alan Robinson. The badge is of the Association of Football League Referees and Linesmen. The picture seems to be from the Orient-Partick game in November 1976.

There was a brief tribute to Peter Lorimer at the end of MOTD last night. Three of Peter's goals were shown, each with a ref briefly in view. The ref for the first was John Gow and the second was (I believe) Harold Davey. Not sure who the third ref was, but a balding head suggested Tom Reynolds or Trevor Spencer, but not large enough for Roger Kirkpatrick. RIP Peter.

After much cross checking to youtube clips

All were at Elland Road

1. 16.10.71 v Manchester City - John Gow (Swansea)
2. 20.04.74 v Ipswich Town - Ken Baker (Ipswich)
3. 04.04.75 v Q.P.R. - Tony Morrissey (Bramhall)

Ah yes of course, Tony Morrissey, another with receding hairline. I'm not so sure about Ken Baker of Rugby but I will bow to your hard work on this, thank you JT.

Edit - I've had a look at YouTube Leeds v Ipswich and yes, the ref is Ken Baker, but I don't think it's the same clip or ref as on MOTD. Ipswich could feel hard done by with Bremner offside when he scored his goal and Clarke appearing to handle in scoring Leeds' winning goal. Oh for VAR!

Cannot seem to copy the picture but link below so someone tech savvy might be able to oblige

Looks like Ken Burns in the middle and the match appears to be in Greece

Jimmy Parker is the Referee and John Tythcott the lineman to his left. Don't know the other one. It would have been a pre season as Jimmy was never in the middle of the Football League
