16th November 1919 - 9th October 1983

Second child of William Lynch and Margaret Smith of Blackburn

Married at the age of 17 Vera Bolton, later King (1920-89) Q2 1937 in Blackburn
One child, Maureen, born Q3 1937 Blackburn

Sept 1939 an Apprentice Iron Moulder at 71 Hereford Road, Blackburn

Football League linesman 1947-48 to 1950-51

Re-married, Doris Hargreaves (1920-2004) Q4 1950 in Blackburn
One child, Ronald W, born Q3 1952 Blackburn

1952 took up officiating in Argentina

06.07.1955 Asked to be released from Argentinian contract as he felt his suspension unfair
He was in his third spell in Argentina, presumably this problem was resolved as he continued there

09.10.1983 Lynch dies in Blackpool, aged 63
