If I recall correctly Eddie Pringle's H stood for Hare - better than being a Burke, however!

According the the match programme it was Karl Steinbrecher, not Helmut Kohl. Can you confirm the source that has Helmut Kohl.

Indeed, in the program for the match and in the FUWO newspaper report, one linesman is listed as Karl Steinbrecher. But I took the data from the report of the UEFA referee about this match.
