I wonder if anyone can help with the following?
Below is a list of officials where English linesmen were used in a European club competition match involving English clubs. I am looking for the missing forenames (in BOLD). The information was obtained from the match programmes. In some cases there isn’t a lot to go on especially where the town of residence wasn’t recorded.
All matches with the exception of the two Wolves games are from the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, where in the early days local officials often assisted a neutral appointed referee.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks for the replies.

I've done a bit of digging and found a couple of things on the internet for G. Earnshaw (Huddersfield), which, assuming this is the linesman in question, confirms his forname as Geoff. He passed away in 2011, aged 85.

Having recognised the name of Ron Hounsell as a past training officer of my old referees society, I thought I would have a look in the 50th Anniversary book that was compiled back in 1999.

Mr Hounsell was the training officer of the North Middlesex Referees Society from 1958 - 1978. The first training officer from 1949 - 1958 was one A.J. Stewart, and the game above in 1965 was listed in the "plum appointments" section of said book.  His first name being Arthur

17/04/1957 – Vernon (not F.L.) Aldridge (Hall Green, Birmingham) & R.C. Southern (Hodge Hill, Birmingham)

R. C. Southern is most likely Robert C. Southern, b 1912, Grantham, Lincs

The attached report from the Grantham Journal mentions he had relocated to Birmingham from Bourne (Lincolnshire)
