When researching foreign officials, where the main or only source is taken from the match programme it is worth bearing in mind that, where possible, these should be checked / verified for their correct spellings.
The following is a list where (I believe) the details given in the match programme should be amended:
24/05/1967 – Kilmarnock v Leeds - Joseph Minnoy and Leon Gyselinck
26/03/1968 – Rangers v Leeds - L. Szabó (I haven’t been able to find the forename for ‘L’ but there was a Kálmán Szabó who was refereeing around this period) and possibly Walter Gallmann . The initial ‘H’ given in the programme may refer to Herr (Mr).
01/05/1968 – Dundee v Leeds – ‘Jarlein’ Picker should be Karl-Heinz Picker
15/04/1970 – Celtic v Leeds – Lintz may possibly be Wolfgang Linz ?
01/12/1965 – Leeds v Leipzig – Barmentilo should be Barmentlo
27/04/1966 – Leeds v Real Zaragoza – both linesmen are prefixed ‘H’. Most likely this refers to Herr (Mr). Should be Karl-Heinz Fork and Berthold Schmidt
11/05/1966 – Leeds v Real Zaragoza – Curt Liedberg and Gösta Färm
19/05/1967 – Leeds v Kilmarnock – Henk van der Veer
06/09/1967 – Leeds v Dynamo Zagreb – Giuliano Acernese and Francesco De Robbio
20/12/1967 – Leeds v Hibernian - James Lawther
15/05/1968 – Leeds v Dundee – Tjeerd Elsinga
23/10/1968 – Leeds v Standard Liege – Vagn Bramming Sřrensen
13/11/1968 - Leeds v Napoli – programme = Miehsner - Nothing found for this name. Possibly could be Kurt Niesner.
18/03/1970 – Leeds v Standard Liege – Riccardo Lattanzi
29/09/1970 – Leeds v Sarpsborg – António Saldanha Ribeiro
21/10/1970 – Leeds v Dynamo Dresden - Marcel Raeymaekers
10/03/1971 – Leeds v Vitoria Setubal - Schultz – possibly could be Hans Schulz?
