You are right ..... and maybe wrong!!!
There were two J. Hunt's in Derbyshire in the early 50's
James W. "Jim" Hunt was in Matlock and later became a F.L. referee and moved to Portsmouth
The other one that I am chasing lived in Glossop, did not progress beyond F.L. line level, and had no second initial
Any help much appreciated
Nothing in the local archives John, will have to go further afield..
