To be fair a referee with the name of Flood is still remembered by a few in this area as he was to forced to postpone Ipswich's visit to Hull during the 89-90 season an hour or so before kick off. Obviously this was due to a waterlogged pitch.  He was appointed to the rescheduled match which the home team won 4-3.

Looking at Upton's you would have to go back to prior to 1900 to find a referee called Frost.
