1946-47 to 1968-69

Seasons on the line before becoming a F.L. referee

11 x 4 - Jim Cattlin (plus a 3 year gap), Gerrard Lewis, Tom Pallister, Jack Parkinson (9 plus a 2 year gap) and Godfrey "Geoff" & "Goff"Powell
10 x 0
9 x 3
8 x 6 inc. Jack Kelly on the FIFA list three years later
7 x 10
6 x 13 inc. Gordon Kew

Ken Aston was amongst the 5's

Jack Husband made the quickest ascent, 1 season line, 1 season supp, 1 season full, then FIFA

I think Jim Finney must have made a similarly quick ascent, FA Amateur Cup Final line to FA Cup Final referee in 3-4 seasons, if my recollection of a detailed list of Final officials on ISOR is correct.

I have Finney taking a couple of seasons longer

2 on line, then FIFA in his 4th as full (supp's had stopped by then)

Is there an accurate source of FIFA seasons for English officials (not Wiki) ?
