16.10.1971   YUGOSLAVIA — EAST GERMANY — 0:0
Referee — J.Taylor; linesmen? (England).

The linesmen are given as Mr Judson and Mr Holt.  Someone else might be able to help with confirmation of spellings and missing forenames.
R M Judson (?Roy I think) from Hartlepool and G W Holt (Coseley, near Wolverhampton)

I think it was Ron(ald) rather than Roy - and the M seems to have been for Moralee!

My reaction on seeing the photo was that the man on the left was Peter Reeves, a couple of years or so before he gained his FIFA badge. Memory, though, plays strange tricks as one gets older!

The linesman on the left of the picture holding a ball is Peter Reeves of Leicester.

Jack Taylor had enormous hands and used to come on to the field holding the ball in one hand, palms up, with no support. He appears to be doing something similar in this photo. Comes with being a butcher I suppose! Linesman is definitely Peter Reeves, ref for one of Crystal Palace's finest nights, their 4-2 promotion win v Wrexham in May 1977, with the two winning goals coming in the last two minutes. What a night!
