Public Apology to Rate the Ref
« on: Mon 12 Apr 2021 17:53 »
Good afternoon all,

Many of you will have noticed that many of my posts were edited over the weekend due to my use of the word "cheat" to describe the actions of a professional footballer in the Tottenham v Man United game on Sunday.

I have had a fantastic discussion with BMB about one of the rules of the forum (as I agree with the 99% of them). She gave me a detailed account of why this rule cannot be relaxed despite my insistence. Despite being unhappy that there is no way to get this rule changed or removed, I am happy to accept the decision of BMB and the admin team.

If anyone was offended or insulted about my comments then I do apologise. I am passionate about the sport I love and refereeing in general and seeing incidents like this make me angry and upset - the way I feel about injustice in every form or guise. I will not stop calling out injustice in whatever I do.

I just wanted to apologise to Ben and the other admins for these comments and to Rate the Ref for bringing the site into disrepute.

All the best

Alex (ajb95)

If anyone is confused or wishes to seek clarification as to why some expressions are not allowed on here then feel free to drop me or one of the admin team a pm to just ask & we will explain in detail.

Next lesson for you Alex is to learn that Missy bmb is the big boss lady! Hierarchically speaking!
