Well done the MLSz
« on: Wed 15 Aug 2018 12:50 »
Very impressed with the MLSz disciplinary committee this week. Nasty incident in the Kisvárda v Fradi game this week. Shynder committed a foul and whilst he was being given a yellow card by Csaba Pintér he touched heads with him. It wasn't a headbutt and not particularly aggressive - if you ignore the fact he was shouting in the refs face at the time as well but it well and truly crossed a line as to what is and is not acceptable. Pintér gave him a straight red for it, quite rightly. At the disciplinary committee hearing yesterday they decided on a 4 month ban for him for it. Well done MLSz  Fantastic message sent out that they will not tolerate an assault/attempted assault on our referees.

Incident starts around 2.50 in if you want to watch it.

I will also add that it was good to see one of his teammates berating him for it & not the referee!

Yes, excellent decision.

I have watched many times on lower leagues referees to be bullied and players to receive bans of 1-2 matchdays.

Definitely the correct message.

I was just about to say the same thing bmb about the skipper. Almost made it easy for the disciplinary committee to make the decision they did when it was so obvious to everyone, including his own captain, how out of line he was.
David Silva olé.

Respect to Kisvárda who yesterday sacked the player involved. Attila Révész, director of sport for the club said he had been banished to training with the U17 from Sunday but yesterday his contract had been unilaterally terminated.
