I agree ajb95 ,  I do wonder if the official on VAR looks at the incident from different angles and speed take everything into account and ask themselves if they were refereeing that match would they overrule the referee and in this incident i bet it’s a no , I feel like based on this , the VAR  has viewed the angle that makes it look worse than it is and has sent the referee to the monitor I am surprised that a referee of Marriners experience came to a RC conclusion
