100% red, at the time he makes contact high on the leg the ball is a couple of metres away.

Red for me, agree the ref/ar/4th official should have seen that as a red.
Cant see what view Simpson has of the incident, but i am sure of our friends on here would say a typical decision from him.

Definite red not issued, now a penalty to Oxford converted and a red card for Sunderland.

I’m sure the fans are thrilled with Simpson tonight….

Fortunately we are playing so poor he's not having the worst but he is shocking

It's a clear SFP case. High intensity, point of contact is above the ankle, no consideration for the opponent's well-being.

Just seen the mass brawl at Sunderland…

The FA will be in contact soon over the unsavoury scenes.

As for Simpson… he is the centre of attention once again.

That is an incredibly poor decision re the SFP challenge. I have often thought English refs have been poor at detecting SFP (personally I think it’s because refs try their best to keep all 22 players on the pitch!) yet they are the challenges most likely to injure players seriously!

Haven’t seen the rest so can’t comment.

I’d save yourself the trouble, Sunderland were worse than even the decision you have seen.

Lincoln’s penalty correct and red card correct, felt he could have dealt with time wasting better.

And on a footballing side how Gooch has managed to have a professional career I have no idea
