What were the particularly disgraceful comments from Austin? Which of his comments was not even true?
No-one who has seen Hooper plying his trade in the Championship, or below, on a regular basis in the past will be the slightest bit surprised that he has once again shown himself to be woefully short of the standard required. The frightening thing is that those who select our top officials appear to be exercising chronically poor judgement time and time again.
On the plus side, wonderful campaigning for VAR from the wretched Hooper.
On the minus side, more likely to have to endure him in the Championship - for this season at least.
