That will act as a deterrent to both Bilic and his counterparts ....... or maybe not.

I see that Bilic has "accepted" the £8k fine but still says that he has done nothing wrong.  That tells you everything you need to know about the effectiveness of the sanction.

Compared with Celtic and Aberdeen each receiving a £30K penalty (£22K suspended) for their players breaching covid restrictions and causing games to be postponed seems to me comparatively quite harsh :(
Still not quite clear to me why their games were called off whilst St Mirren's game with Hearts was ordered to go ahead when their three goalkeeper were having to isolate (whether by misfortune or misdeed I know not).
