S HOOPER - Watford v Man C
« on: Sat 04 Dec 2021 18:56 »
A rare opportunity to watch Hooper involved on the tv and with a top four team and he’s done well. Hardly a difficult match to officiate but nonetheless he has refereed what’s been put out there well.

Cards warranted when needed.

Perhaps this is a springboard to get more matches in the top flight.

Just shows that if you give these people a chance on these games; they can perform well!

I've not had much chance to watch Hooper before, so the 4.30am alarm call was a great opportunity to do so.

I was very impressed. Like TTFL, I didn't think it was a difficult game to referee by any stretch, but what was put in front of him, he handled exceptionally well and let the game flow very well.
David Silva olé.

At least one of the goals, possibly two, were scored after Hooper played advantage.

Credit where it is due - some of us are quick to criticise when a referee hits the whistle one minute too soon.
