I hadn’t heard about this but if winning the equivalent of the Northern Premier League in Sweden forty years ago, being absolutely clueless at Internazionale and Liverpool before failing to get out of a World Cup group with Costa Rica in it then managing England to get knocked out by Iceland is footballing genius it’s fully deserved.

The ultimate bluffer who waffles on about his forty-odd-year career but in the same category as Pulis, Warnock or Allardyce and has never won anything of significance.

That’s before considering the Honours System that ignored the greatest English manager of all time and Brian Clough’s achievements at Forest.


Well this post could never be reasonably accused of 'sitting on the fence' though I find ad hominem attacks regrettable and unappealing.
