100% correct decision for the red card (although 'referee12' would probably disagree), but he didn't award Doncaster a penalty.

Clear red card, can only assume he incorrectly thought it was outside the area.

Aye, although it wasn't even on the line.

Aye, although it wasn't even on the line.

I suspect what has confused him is the defender starts outside the area but then moves in.  Still a fairly straight forward decision though.

He probably lost the position of the original foul in the aftermath, when he was dealing with the RC.
Even though it is Ross, I have to agreed that he got the decision correct. ;D

I was there yesterday. He assessed the challenge correctly- it was an awful one and there's possibly a case for a longer ban than three matches for a tackle like that. How he hasn't given a penalty I simply don't understand. I was at the other end of the ground and could see clearly it was inside. I wonder if his assistant or the fourth official could have helped him out?

Overall a draw was a fair result though.

The original camera angle was from behind the official, it didn't look as 'clearly inside' as it did from other angles.
