If that is not a red card, yesterday at Stevenage a certain Northampton striker will feel aggrieved if he gets a 3 match ban. Therein lies the problem. Consistency allied with contributory factors such as provocation.

Steve Evans wasn’t refereeing at this point on Saturday as Geoff Eltringham had already dismissed him from the touch line!
