Interested to see James Linington’s low card count as he seemed to have a pretty high card ratio in previous seasons
Good ref who perhaps now relies more on man management skills than he used to do. Rarely attracts controversy either. Continually surprised that not more on here mention him as a possibility for a PL trial, particularly when the names of Langford, Ward, England, Brooks and Robinson crop up.

Edited that part out - no need for it.  >:(

Breakspear with a virtual clean sweep of awards, only second to Whistleblower’s favourite Alan Young in one category.

Kettle’s name on the highest card count in one match is not surprising in the slightest.

That comes up all the time, isn't he a high ranking police officer in the Met and therefore wouldn't be interested?

I thought James was a self-employed plumbing engineer from the Isle of Wight. He seems to have been around for a very long time and I remember seeing a good performance from him in the Championship in Nov 2009 at Selhurst Park when he was being talked of as a PL prospect. After that, he had a lengthy spell or spells out of action with injury and that seemed to knock him back a bit. I agree he is a good SG2 ref but I wonder whether the time has passed for him to step up to SG1.

He was prior to being full time SG2

Never mind, rustyref, the time to worry is if The Sun has got to your head.
