I think from looking at the relay he was looking through a Palace player and probably didn’t see it. However, I’m disappointed he didn’t attempt to adjust his position slightly to give him a better view.

Other than that, I thought he had a decent game. Maintained control, cautions both correct and the penalty was a difficult spot in real time so good intervention from VAR.

I am a little surprised Messrs. Jones and Bankes (4O) didn't take firmer action against Mr. Vieira for his apparent extreme actions on the touchline. I feel he went beyond what's generally acceptable.

Are you really surprised?

The way in which dugout antics are dealt with is appalling and inconsistent, usually dependent on the profile of who’s in those dugouts.
