Well done to all, surprised Tom has been picked above Josh Smith but I think is still deserved as haven't seen anything but praise for him on this forum.
Congratulations to Natalie, not surprising to anyone as has had some very good appointments so far. Steven Meredith had a Premier League debut which clearly went well, and also expected for Greenhalgh who in my opinion is underrated.

Surprised no refs promoted to Sg2, was expecting Madley Barrot or even Toner to be at least promoted but congratulations to all Assistants promoted.

Congratulations to Tom! I thought there would have been at least one more promotion - Josh Smith perhaps - to help replace the three SG1s who have retired. Hopefully more use will be made of the recent promotees than they were during the PL season just ended.

We expect to be able to complete the process for those seeking promotion to the SG2R List next week.

I believe Smith failed fitness test therefore didn’t get an interview Only two went forward for interview.

We would now have 12 FIFA listed assistants if Aspinall is appointed to a mens match in Europe.

Congratulations to all those promoted - a reward for an excellent season. Here's hoping Brammall might get a few more opportunities than the promotees did this season!

Seems quite a small cohort from Step1AR to NGAR, maybe a consequence of ARs staying on longer, especially when their refereeing is no longer taken into account.
Maybe stricter performance criteria need to be applied to see more of a turnover?

Looks as if Toner’s horrendous play off performance has possibly counted against him.

You don't know that, though, especially as it's been mentioned above that the promotion of referees to SG2 has been delayed.

Sadly true. Unbeknown to Josh he was beginning a bout of covid having tested positive the next day and subsequently coming off the League One play off final

I know he will be determined to be back in the shop window next year

Shame. It shows how fragile the system can be and how all of the hard work across a season can be undone in the blink of an eye.
