I observed Ruby Sykes this season best referee i have seen this season has very good movement around the field of play and confident in her decision making and portrays confidence when dealing with offending players and is surely destined for great things and one to watch out for.

I heard on the grapevine that PGMOL interviews are this week.

Does anybody know who was invited to these interviews?

The dates are right there in the 2nd post on this thread. I’ve heard a couple of names but just through rumours and speculation so don’t feel it fair to name names. No one would be surprised by them being invited though, if it’s true.

Any one know the people promoted from the 30th and 31st May day thingy?

With selection days seemingly complete, I wonder when we might hear of the successful candidates?

What is the current thinking as to who will be promoted to the National List, Select Group 2 and Select Group 1?

I can only give you my current thinking, I have no official knowledge.  If there are to be promotions to SG1 I would expect them to be drawn from Bond, Linington, Robinson and Smith.

Promotion to SG2  Toner and Barrott.  I think Breakspear deserves it but I am not convinced it will happen

Congrats to all 5 - as good as the National League is, it is still one of the biggest steps up, into the realms of full time, professional football - well done

To those who missed out, hunker down, train hard and go again, make sure you are in the mix again next year.
