Congrats to Gill, Wood from Panel to FL Middle I think they will be fine, and do a good job.

Herczig and Kirk need to significantly step up on what I saw from there Play Off Semi Finals, especially so Herczig who looked lost out there especially where numerous times in the first half was confronted by players, no loud whistle or card, just a wave of hands … and Kirk missed mandatory cautions imo in his semi final, and seemed like he was trying to be everyone best mate, which didn’t work.

Bramall promoted to Premier League middle good luck to him. Needs to keep up his good Foul detection rate, make big brave decisions, and remember he is now going to be a senior Chanpionship referee when his operating at that level, if Riley Keeps up with the 5-6 Premier a league middles in first season, hopefully not an he be blooded in and make at least 10-12 middle appointments this season. I agree with most now that Robinson and Linnigton are prob viewed very highly by the Football League but not by Riley. So they should just go out and enjoy there status as the top 2.

Seems to have worked quite nicely for him. Promotion after just 6 National League matches (and a playoff) must be a record.

Those 7 matches also saw a remarkably low just 16 yellow and no red cards.

It does seem extraordinary. So either he has performed with stonking brilliance in these 6 matches plus the play off or else he has a very fitting face ( or indeed perhaps a combination of the two ). Imagine a promotion to a senior medical post on such limited evidence of first rate practice.

There’s hope for Alan Young then on this apparent precedent! 7 stonking games and up the ladder we go! 🙄
