Panel Select lines on National League Premier, Panel lines on National League North & South.  From memory I think Panel is 3F and Panel Select 3E.

Not sure of the 3E, however, you are certainly correct about the Panel Select because one of my good friends has just been promoted and that is exactly what he told me. I was having a laugh because I told him that he will always be on the road!
Referee's decision used to be final!

Yes, I saw him a couple of times and he was pretty good on both occasions.

Whilst there is still a lot up in the air about the 2020/21 season, it is clear that it will be even more compact than usual (although I do expect one or two competitions to glacé a year off!)

As such, what don people think are the chances of a few promotions to SG1 and SG2 to help deal with the increased demand? Then in subsequent years as refs retire maybe not replace them on the current one in one out basis?

I'm not sure it will make any significant difference. It's likely the league season will start a month or so later (for Premier League and probably Championship at least) so you're talking around four rounds of fixtures being rescheduled and I wouldn't be surprised if the League Cup/FA Cup was reduced or even cancelled, so I'm not sure there will be any greatly increased demand. The extra demand is more likely going to be the next few weeks - we might see a few 'trial games' but doesn't seem there will be any significant changes.

Don't know Mr Hull personally, but he seemed a calm and capable official when he was in the middle for Tranmere NL games.

I would assume they won’t be announced until after the season is complete, so sometime in early to mid-August

AR promotions from NL to EFL are out, I would assume referee ones will follow at the conclusion of the play offs
