A heck of a task I imagine! I suggest accessing the Soccer Base website ('More' then 'Referees') and you should find the information you want. The first shown is Martin Atkinson who apparently began his FL career at Macclesfield in Aug 2003 and refereed 26 games in his first season. Hope this is helpful.

Thanks so much

Your very welcome.

You don't have to do this, as you have already done an outstanding job, but I just thought could you add, how many seasons each were sg2 for?

Do you mean in terms of what i posted above, but with the promotees to select group 2 instead?

No, sorry, poorly worded.

So for example
Michael Oliver
First Game md4 West Ham vs Liverpool
Games 12
Seasons in sg2 before promotion 5

Does that make sense

SG2 only became a thing in season 16/17 so only the following could have been in it, prior to that it was SG or national list

Chris Kavanagh
Simon Hooper
David Coote
Andy Madley
Peter Bankes
Darren England
Rob Jones
Jarred Gillet
John Brooks
Micheal Salisbury
Tony Harrington
