Plym Nick Moderator Open Post

Just reading your response to my Lee Probert thread, and this is NOTHING WHATSOEVER regarding the rights and wrongs of the post itself or indeed any other posts I have started or responded to I just want to say THANK YOU for your strapline at the end whereby you say BULLYING IS NEVER ACCEPTABLE.

Being on the receiving end of bullying on various occasions during my school life many years ago which after all of this time I still bear the scar, and then again in my working life it is gratifying you bring this to attention even though  it is on a forum where we discuss and debate performance good or bad from football referee of all grades.

However I am viewed about any comment I make or post I instigate and  I AM ONLY A FAN WHO ENJOYS GOOD DEBATE the fact you use the signature at the end of posts regarding such an issue which is degrading for the individual concerned is heartening and for myself much appreciated.

Thanks for the kind words, it is a subject close to my heart, unfortunately even the written word is sometimes used to bully, often people don't realise or accept that they are bullying people especially those who are forthright and confident. Its about education and not accepting bullying that will eventually eradicate it.  Its not acceptable on this forum and if spotted will be dealt with robustly. If you ever feel uncomfortable press report and one of us will take a look at it.

I assume that the 'offensive' posts have been removed because us lesser mortals who have not seen the original(s) haven't a clue what this relates to? If that is the case, why is this in the public domain?

Let me make this quite clear that I have NEVER EVER had a problem of bullying on this very interesting and enjoyable forum and to the best of my knowledge no posts have been removed at all.I am not or indeed ever have been a referee, but someone who is a mere fan but has by my own admission has a deep love and interest in all aspects of the game.

Why I made the initial post was as a victim of bullying in various stages of my scholastic [ approaching fifty years ago] and working life and I wanted to express my personal gratitude to Nick for using a signature that expresses just how bullying in any walk of like should never EVER be tolerated, and as someone who is committed to eradicating the issue and hopefully helping others where even the smallest comment in the public domain is deemed a positive one.I decided to do this after Nick responded to a post I made about the performance [good or bad] about the referee appointed to my club over the weekend.

No it has nothing at all to do with how good/ how bad a referee is and if it is deemed wrong by myself for commending the moderator who uses this signature then I am guilty as charged.

Sorry, but it is a topic I feel so strongly about I will use any way at all possible to raise the awareness of this issue and do my bit to try and eradicate this.

I look forward to visiting the appointments forum tomorrow to see who is going to Scunthorpe next weekend when we visit.

Regards and best wishes to all the lovely people who administer and contribute on here.
