I think you will find it will be a sine die suspension, that cant be reviewed for 5 years.
I believe that is the protocol.
That's how it used to be done, but not now. Any suspensions resulting from a misconduct charge are for a set period of time.
Based on the information in the article, it's shameful of Durham FA to have only given a five year suspension, which is the minimum that could have been given for a case of this type. Equally shameful of the player's defence counsel to try and claim he is now a changed man, only two years after perpetrating it.
