Without wishing to sidetrack this thread, its title put a mischievous thought in my head. If a player and a referee are injured in a collision and both require treatment is the player required to leave the field of play before the game restarts? 
Yes. The would There are a handful of exemptions to leaving the field of play following injury assessment and this isn't one of them ☺️
