However, a point on LOTG, can a match that was officially abandoned restart from the 22nd minute with a score of 1-0? Surely, a game can only restart from a given point if it was suspended?

Law 7 subsection 5:

5. Abandoned match

An abandoned match is replayed unless the competition rules or organisers determine otherwise.

Thanks, bmb. I assume Football Australia would be deemed the organisers and, as such, have the ability to start the game as described (i.e. from the 22nd minute with a 1-0 score). It would be interesting to see how play is actually restarted. I suppose they will look at the TV footage and see what the situation was at the stoppage, e.g. was the ball dead, i.e. goal kick, throw-in etc. and start from there, or a drop ball if the game was stopped with the ball in play.
