Is it the case that the Fitness Test for SG1 is more rigorous than for SG2 and National List? I seem to remember vaguely reading that once. If it is, then that would explain perhaps why Hooper is refereeing at Championship,Div 1 & 2 level but not PL.  Doesn't bode that well for a stellar career in the top flight if that is so.

 Personally I have never been convinced by Hooper or Robinson. A Madley is a fine referee, who I have heard was interviewed for SG1 but not taken in the last round. Bond is also impressive.
