Hungarian football at it's finest tonight - prematch, after the National Anthem, we had a priest out in the centre circle blessing the pitch/ground! Seriously, holy water sprinkled & the full works after he had done his blessing!

Home team wore a Christmas kit.

2-1 win for the home team which keeps the gap at the top to just 5. Lot to play for still! Roll on Feb. Oh & a mention for Mr Erdös who I thought was excellent tonight, kept the lid on a match that threatened to boil over many times. Couple of nasty incidents in the match, one where thankfully Kovacs only caught Lovrencsics with his trailing leg, had he caught him with his leading leg, I don't think Lovrencsics would have walked again, let alone played again! As it was he was carted off. Yellow card for the tackle, which was fair enough but there would have been no complaint with red either.  Then Vinicius when trying to clear the ball from going over the line kicked Varga in the head.  I believe it was 100% accidental & not a red, others (mostly Fradi fans) say it was stonewalled and more evidence that they get picked on by refs! We'll ignore Lanzafame's 27 dives in the game like the Fradi fans manage to, while we consider how mean the refs are to them... Varga was inexplicably allowed back on & about 5 mins later was virtually carried off the pitch, clearly had no clue who or where he was & was carted off to hospital!
Hajrá Lilák. Csak a Kispest. Hajrá Magyarok! Hajrá játékvezetői csapat! Soha ne add fel. Nincs sárga kérem!!! No Chris Kavanagh doesn't live in Ashton or even in the Greater Manchester area!!
