I find Mr Oldham inconsistent. On his day he has potential for promotion, but on a bad day he struggles.

Once again I'm not sure how many of his matches you've seen to identify inconsistency ? How many promotion potential displays and how many bad days in the office.

I saw him for the first time 10 days ago and was reasonably impressed. His movement around the pitch was excellent all the more so for someone who has struggled with injuries during his short career. His decision making was sound, cards were shown correctly with authority and, a big plus for me, he seemed to be enjoying himself.
I have seen Mr Oldham 4 times - 3 times not involving my team. For a Second-Year EFL official there won't be many who have seen more often.
